Xatu's A History of Pokemon [VOLUME 1]

On August 28, 1965, a man named Satoshi Tajiri was born in Japan.  In his early years, Satoshi was very interested in insects.  He loved catching them and also figuring out new ways to catch them.  However, as with most places with trees, the parks he hunted in were demolished for construction.  Because Satoshi could no longer collect insects, Satoshi decided to create adventures in his own mind.  Around the same time, he also gained an interest in video games.  He, along with a couple of his friends, started a magazine dedicated to video games titled Game Freak.  The magazine turned into a video game developer that made all of the Pokemon games that you know of today.  Next week, I will tell you about some of those games and the Pokemon introduced in them.
